Photo 101

June 11, 2009 § 2 Comments

I’m thinking of folding my UN aspirations and becoming a professional food and animal photographer.  This particular post will only consist of a few photo series and a short photo tutorial.

Photo tutorial

  1. Buy a Canon Powershot SD 880 IS
  2. Learn to use the macro function by pressing left on the circle
  3. Point and shoot

This camera is amazing.  I didn’t think it would be that different from my SD 600 but it is!  The colors are so much brighter, images clearer, and it even adjusts the lighting and settings automatically.  I was already a Canon digital camera fan before this trip but after using the SD 880 I must advocate on behalf of this company.  AMA-zing!

Here are my pictures essays from my visit to the countryside.

Is that the new camera you got for graduation? Wow, amazing. I can see the hair follicles. Take a photo class and learn photoshop and become a professional photographer!

I want a SLR camera so bad. Preferably Nikon or Canon…

    Those dogs are so adorable!

how’d you get the dogs to stay still for you? a lot of times when i try to take pics of my dogs, they’re intrigued by the camera and keep moving closer. i love that you’re keeping this blog of your travels, despite that i liked your language themed one too.
