Starcraft in Korea

June 13, 2009 § 3 Comments

I’m still a little sick so I couldn’t explore Korea today but I did watch a lot of Korean television.  Currently I am watching a Starcraft game on the MBC Game channel.  It’s not a real game but basically a maze with a whole lot of missile turrets trying to shoot down what looks like some dropships.  Haha,  it’s funny how riled up the announcers get when commenting on the games.

I also watched a fishing show and a few minutes of some random Korean dramas.  I’m thinking of starting to watch a new drama called Triple that just started here but I don’t want to get sucked into a tv show as I travel to country from country so I’ve been resisting the urge.  It’s hard enough to feed my So You Think You Can Dance addiction while I’m here.

Today my brother came over to my aunt’s house for dinner where we ate bulgogi and rice and various other side dishes.  It was delicious and beautifully presented.  My third aunt could teach classes on presentation and orderliness.  She puts Monica Gellar to shame.  I’m still a bit hungry though so I’m thinking of ordering some McDonalds delivery later (yeah! they deliver!) for the experience.  I’ve heard horror stories about McDonalds in Korea though so I’m a bit hesitant but my cousin seems to think it will be alright.    =)
