Shilin Night Market

Shilin (Jiantan station, exit 1) is the biggest night market in Taipei.  At first I thought it was just the indoor area but then soon realized that the night market extended for blocks and blocks.  Most of the stands in the building served oyster omelet/pancake.  I personally think that the one I ate at Danshui tasted better but these were not bad.  They also served some deep fried chicken and other snacks.

The night market also had lots of fun carnival type games and stores.  I was too overwhelmed by all the wares available to buy anything.  I got tired walking around so much though.  Now I know why Taiwanese people can eat all that deep fried stuff and not get fat.  After you walk around the night market twice in the summer heat, nothing will stick to your waistline.
